Pillarstone Capital REIT’s value-add portfolio consists of high-density urban mid-rise office buildings and well-located suburban office/flex properties close to major highway arteries and affluent neighborhoods. The company currently owns eight properties in Houston and Dallas.

COMPANY HISTORY
Founded in 1994, Pillarstone’s predecessor company, Paragon Real Estate Equity and Investment Trust, was acquired in 2003 through the acquisition of Stonehaven Trust, which historically acquired and owned real estate with investment portfolios in the U.S. In December 2016, the company was renamed Pillarstone Capital REIT when it participated with Whitestone REIT in a Contribution Agreement and related agreements involving the transfer and management of 14 real estate assets in Dallas and Houston, Texas.
